Weathertech International Challenge
The Weathertech International Challenge with Brian Redman at Road America (located in Elkhart Lake, WI) is held annually. Lisa Weinberger, Founder of Driven to Care, raced over the weekend.

The weekend was filled with racing, go karting, a newly man-made beach to watch the races where there’s a great view of a turn called “The Kink”, and included two nights of Race and Sports Car Concours D’Elegances in downtown Elkhart Lake.
Typically we host automotive students/instructors but due to unforeseen circumstances was unable to host them this year. We did however have former graduated students that joined us.
Driven to Care does offer named funds in memory of car enthusiasts who have passed on and we were fortunate to see a few of their offspring at the track. We also hosted a dinner where our former students had the privilege of dining with a few founders of the Autobahn Country Club, a beautiful track located in Joliet, IL.
Autobahn will be hosting an upcoming event for students in the fall (October 1, 2024). We had a roundtable introduction for everyone to learn about various industry careers and the making of the track since inception. Autobahn is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year!
Back on track, the race this weekend featured a Ragtime Racers Speed Exhibition. They dismantled a custom Model T Ford, and then reassembled it and went out on the track with their fellow Ragtime racers. Watching 100 year old race cars go around the track was a site to behold.
